East Timor Sea Spill Caused by Negligence


The massive Montara rig oil spill that occurred last year was caused by failure to place a cap over the well which blew out over the field, an inquiry into the environmental disaster has heard. Click here for details: http://www.upstreamonline.com/live/article203385.ece.


This major incident should be a wakeup call for those diehards who still want to lift the BC's North Coast offshore oil and gas moratorium, which has been in place since 1972.
